Aβ generation in cultured cells treated with free or nanoparticulate flurbiprofen. 7WD10 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of free flurbiprofen (A) or PLA-flurbiprofen nanoparticles (B) for 48 hours. Levels of Aβ were measured by an Aβ specific ELISA. The data represent mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. * Statistically significant difference (P <0.05, two-way ANOVA) between Aβ levels of vehicle-treated and drug-treated cells are indicated.
